Our Futures Academy Programs for ages three to U8 will be your player’s first introduction to soccer. Our professional coaches meet your player where they are and work to progress their fundamental skills and ball mastery, including moves to evade and deceive their opponent. Academy style training allows players to match skills against all other players in the academy, and meeting twice a week ensures that the repetition of learning becomes a habit for success.
Upon completion of the Futures Academy experience, players will have the love and fundamentals of the game ready for the player to embark on their soccer journey through our MRFC pathway into recreational or competitive programs.

MRFC have futures program offered at the following locations:
Coaches deliver a proven reality-based curriculum that is age-appropriate for players as they continue to develop their physical literacy, fundamentals and love for the game of soccer.
Session involves soccer related drills and small sided games.
MRFC Future Jersey is included in the registration fee! Soccer Players grow fast – be sure to order an accurate size for the new season! Jerseys can be collected at the player check in area.

MRFC is on PlayMetrics!
PlayMetrics accounts are family accounts. This means everyone’s profile lives under one account, including players, parents/guardians, and any additional contacts you invite to join your account.
Step 1: Navigate to MRFC PlayMetrics homepage. We also recommend downloading the PlayMetrics app on your Android or iOS device.
Step 2: Select the “Continue” button if you already have a PlayMetrics account or the “Create New Account” link to create your new account.
Step 3: If necessary, verify your account and confirm your email.
Step 4: On the Home tab of your dashboard, add your players. Once players are added, you’ll be able to see what programs are available to register for under the Programs tab. Please note that programs will not be shown as “available” until registration is open.
Upon player request, players may play up age groups. Parents/guardians must contact the futures director at futures@mtrainierfc.org to make a request. Upon approval, the director will grant your soccer player additional eligibility and respond with next steps.
